This three-minute video explains how using social media can produce “filter bubbles” insulating users from other viewpoints. Science education is not a particular focus for IREX; nonetheless, this video may be useful. IREX, which created the video, has produced “Learn to Discern” resources for media literacy education that have been used in the U.S. and other nations.
