A group of 20 science educators and media literacy experts convened in February 2023 to discuss current science education standards and how they might be leveraged to address several concerns, especially the increasingly harmful influence of scientific misinformation. Tackling Scientific Misinformation in Science Education, published in May 2023, is an analysis of the problem and recommendations for moving forward.
